Set against the picturesque backdrop of Alfama in Lisbon, our renovation project blends heritage preservation with the modernity needed for today’s urban life. Given that the old apartment typologies no longer meet modern comfort and functionality requirements, a deep intervention was essential to transform these spaces.
This project perfectly harmonizes traditional elements, such as exposed stone walls, with modern installations, including glass showers and high-quality finishes. The use of natural materials like wood for doors and flooring adds warmth and elegance, while maximizing natural light to make the spaces more inviting and spacious.
